hk 22-26Apr2008 :)

1st day
arrived in the afternoon, took a cab from the airport back to hotel in jordon. Distance approximately from (singapore)town to pasir ris
and it cost us S$70!!.The driver told us tt there was an airport surcharge of S$20, like wth go rob a bank la!
So we took train called MTR (not MRT) to Mongkok and shopped til night. Bought a S$2 packet cold noodle which was really interesting and delicious in the shopping centre. The concept was to add any 3 ingredients for S$2. CHEAP RIGHT! They had stufs like pigeon eggs, octopus, and err, i cant remb alrdy. lots and lots of varieties!

YUMMY :D:D:D

Mummy and me in Mongkok :)

Bossini in hk is like 4 stories high!

Had dinner with dear's parents in some ulu place after tt. The place was very much like those old n run down shops with a long flight of stairs at the side shown in hk dramas.
Food there was superb! Had some oyster porridge, oyster pancake, all different parts of pigs, such as pig ears, small and big intestines all tt. Sounds bad, but tastes really good!! :D To be honest, i loved the intestines. lol

Next, we took mini bus which travelled at like 90km/h to Tsim Sha Tsui to shop again. hehs. Nothing much there though, was more like the pasar malam type.

Me in hk mini bus

Food in Tsim Sha Tsui

Buying bubbletea! :)

Next up, dessert!!! I guess its a must-try and must-have-it-everynight thing in hk. lol.

2nd day
Had breakfast in cha can ting. (direct translation= tea restaurant??)
Breakfast were in sets and served very fast, like 3mins after ordering! They had stufs like egg/ham sandwiches, macaroni with beef/chicken, spagetti, puolo buns....and it was super cheap! like S$4 per set inclusive of a drink.
Mummy wanted to go to the temple at Dai Yu Shan. Took about 1hr to get there! Honestly, it was kindof boring :X Tickets were at about S$5-8 per person and it included free vegetarian food and supersoft and smooth beancurb, therefore making this trip still quite worth going. hehs.

Look at the flight of stairs!!!

DISNEYLAND WAS NEXT :D:D:D:D:D
Stayed on all the way til night to catch the fireworks. Spent a great deal of time rushing for shows cus rides there are pretty limited. They didnt have stufs like Indiana Jones ride, characters' houses..etc. Shows, parades and fireworks were pretty good :D

Disneytrain!

Rice thingy in Micky mouse shape.Catered to HK disneyland only!

Lion King Show

Our lunch

Disney Parade! Was fantastic!!

Lovely treehouse :)

Spot me!

Left Disneyland and headed on to Temple Street for dinner! Had streetside dinner which was pretty cool. Ordered snails, claypot rice, fried chicken......YUMMY though not very healthy hehs.

Yes, dessert again :D

3rd day
Train to ShenZhen :D Dear's sister and her bf joined us. Headed to the train station and we saw this express soup shop. The soup was like, the healthy kind, brewed and no MSG. We had some pear thingy with chicken. Tasted good but pretty weird since there wasn't any ingredients, jus pure soup in paper bowl. The conclusion, HK people love drinking soup, supported by HK dramas :D

Reached Shenzhen in like 30-40mins,pretty fast.Once we stepped out of the train station, people started approaching us, showing us their menu or services such as medicure/pedicure... They even followed us all the way to the shopping centre and tried to lead us to their shop. So shocked to see how desperate these people are in trying to get customers.
Had lunch in a chinese restaurant. Dimsum there was fabulous!! :D Lots of varieties and delicious! Prices were reasonable too.

Next up, shopping!! :D
Went to do medicure, bargained like siao. Dear's sister introduced us to one of the shops, but we couldnt find it. This stupid lady bluffed us saying tt it has closed down, so we could do our medicure in her shop. Felt so cheated when dear said he found the shop after tt! STUPID NEHNEH LADY.

Dinner was at this place

Xiao fei yang - Small fat lamb

After dinner, MASSAGE :D
2 words to describe --> super ticklish!! lol.
When we left Shenzhen, it was 5am...:X

4th day
OCEAN PARK :D:D:D

The place was pretty old and super crowded with china tourists. They had a number of scary rides such as this..

which i took and closed my eyes for like almost the whole ride.

and others such as roller coaster, which faced the mountain and sea area. There's also this super scary ride where u go high up and jus drop in a split second. All, which....i didnt try :X hehs.

Cablecar was really really high too.

Worn a Jumbo prize on our first game!

Dinner at temple street

5th day - last day :(
Back to Tsim Sha Tsui for a walk and left to the airport.

Something interesting i saw..

Take a closer look!

The motorbike loaded with skinless chickens!! so dirtyyyyyy!!!
